It seems this album is taking forever. Take it outside, was an album that took a long time and incredible amount of work but this one is going through a whole different game, namely the economic crises here in Iceland.
As much as I feel I´m doing my best work, I have very limited time for it and limited funds as well. So many things come in to play when the seriousness of living kicks in. Progressive music tends to take the backseat.
But this will simply take the time and effort that is necessary, be it 5 years even (worst case). I like putting out different rough mixes and demos since I know that people find the process quite interesting.
So here is a piece in the making; Sonic Empire with a preliminary drum track. Keys; Derek Sherinian. Percy Jones on bass.
This album has a lot of political discussion on it from people like Max Kaiser, John Perkins and such. Human speech is very rhythmic and I like to make statements with music.
It may not be the way to go if you are looking for the typical media participation in a publication, however my music is progressive avant garde, so who cares, I will make it the way I see fit.
